I think it should be "At least I had your yesterday" Otherwise, it looks pretty good. I love this song. One of my all time City and Colour favorites. |

I think it'd be a stretch to say it's about virginity. But. I do like that there are so few words and such strong meaning. I'm sure it's been said, but I'll reiterate. To me, it means being in a serious relationship when they both rely on each other to either make or break their lives. It's pretty powerful. |

| So, he's with the one he loves for the last time for a while. He doesn't want to leave, and he wants to make this last night be great (bring me your love tonight). I guess it's self-explanatory, and everyone else already covered this. I do agree, though, about the whole death interpretation. | |

Wambs, I agree. I guess, for me, it seems like he's telling you to just keep on keeping on. |

I take it as, they're in love (The stars are aligned), but they can't be together for whatever reason (but they don't align for us). As for the "I'll starve for you, will you know how to stay brave?" part, I take it as, he's gonna bear the brunt of the pain of the failed relationship, and can she handle being strong? Then the last part means that he still treasures the everyday moments (Even with nothing left to say) as well as the fragile ones. |

This is off the Sometimes album, I believe. And the lyrics should read: Do you know the consequence My love, that comes with such confidence? And So what is this now, you ask of me? What makes your pain, such an* urgency? Now I want out, so plain to see Once again my dear, a new tragedy* |
