"Will the new year... magazines for tables." <--- i think this part of the verse is about is about getting older, especially when he talks about his rotting hairs releasing. Maybe his rotting hairs that suffer from Alopecia.
But i think the line about the blackbook is referring to is a "lil Blackbook" of females phone numbers. B/c most men that fear getting old try to 'Pull' as many young women as possible. so the sink of his deepest creases are his wrinkle lines from getting old. That are artificially healed from his Endeavors with the opposite sex.
He probably is receiving alot more attention from girls now that they are becoming more popular.

This was a stand out song for me. It sounds as though he is speaking from the perspective of a GOD. talking about his fickle flock of people! i love all of the medieval references. |

I love this track as well, I Still have been studying it for its meaning though.... Its seems cliche but it comes off to me.... that he is singing to the girl that he has bent over backwards for to impress and show that he loves her but its just not good enough to keep her interested as she prepares to leave for school! idk how acurate this is.... just my initial thought.
Though my Fav. Line in the song is:

Yeah there is def. a connection When i was was growing up in NY we use to keep blades in our mouth in case of a fight. or b/c we thought it was cool to be a badass. at this stage in my life i would connect it to the latter.....lol |
