I love this band because it brings everyone together. Just like Mog i can relate way better than i would like to and in my specific instance. "My words feel so empty my lips speak in vain" When you are trying to fix something and you try and try and keep saying you wont do it again but you keep making the same mistake. "Your face tells a story of wounds that still remain" I dont know if this is what they meant but that face they see could also be your own reflection and you see and feel those wounds that youve created I would screw up pretty bad and then i would repent of it and than a month later i would make that same mistake so the line " I hate the way it feels to know ive slipped again" cuts me really deeply and i feel for it very much. I have been doing much better and havent made that same mistake for all of those people who would call me a hypocrite and such. There are people out there that say that if you screw up in the process of fixing things that it makes you a hypocrite and your just spitting in the face of God but i strongly believe that if you feel true remorse for it that it isnt. The term relapse comes to mind. So if any of you feel like you keep screwing up and that because you cant seem to let go of that sin that you arent worthy and that you should just give up that there is hope. there are people out there who have done the same things and are living better now and are happy. There is always someone willing to listen even if you feel like you dont want to tell that person. just know that God still loves you and through Christs Atoning Sacrafice that your wounds can be healed and your Sins forgiven. I believe that if you just dont give up and keep trying and keep trying that you will make it. i feel like there is another reason that it repeats "And for what its worth i wont give up, I wont walk away" He may be saying that to other people but he may be saying that for himself to remind himself about how good things can still be even though he is in a dark place. Almost everyone on here has felt strongly for this song and if anybody reads this and doesnt feel like they are worth it and they are below the atonement that that is what the adversary wants you to think so keep your head held high towards the heaven and remember that you are a child of God |

Sorry im moving it because it was bugging me... im ocd haha Honestly I think that if it is applying to your life in that form then its ok. Parables were gospel docterines in a story so that you can get out of it what you most needed. I feel very much for the girl thing but i also feel very much for opposing. ive sinned very much and most of Haste The Day's songs hit me very close to home but i also know that it applies to my life from the relationship point of view. I see no problem with someone that feels that way because just like a parable this song can be taken the way you most need it. Also does anyone hear the word them also being sang during the part that they sing "You watched me follow fools to the sea Tie the stones that bring me down below the tides." I love how everyone is bashing on bullet saying they cant believe thats all he has to say about it and then all they have to say is about him I freaking love this song! i get the opposite feeling then thebigman i think that lyrically theyve grown so much since burning bridges. every single song applies to my life so well. its amazing how deep every single song is. the reason i got on here was i was just trying to figure out what they meant when they say theres needles in your finger tips. i was thinking maybe it meant that everything he touches bleeds or gets hurt. anyone care to build on that? |
