| The Fray – Never Say Never Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| A boy and a girl used to be together, but they broke up along time ago and are just best friends now. They are both falling in love with each other again "younger now then we were before". | |

| I think this song is about a guy who is asking God, where have you been? The world is so messed up these days and he's wondering if God really does exist. | |
| The Fray – Look After You Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Honestly, I think this is the best love song I've EVER heard. It's so beautiful and captures the feeling of being truly in love with one person and one person only, finding true love and the person you're supposed to be with. Too many relationships these days are about money, looks, sex, and other superficial things, and this song represents the few relationships that are based on much deeper things. I think the song is about a guy confessing his love to his best friend that he has fallen in love with, telling her his true feelings. He is saying that if she'll be his, he'll look after her and take care of her. She knows him better then anyone else and she understands him. It's always have a never old since you've begun to feel like home = best. line. EVER! |

| The Fray – Over My Head (Cable Car) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think this song is about two close friends, and the guy is falling in love with the girl. Maybe they used to have a thing, but now she's over him and he's still not over her. He wishes he could forget about her and move on, but he's still madly in love with her and can't let go. | |
| The Fray – How To Save A Life Lyrics | 16 years ago |

To me this song is about a friend trying to talk another friend out of ending their life. He tries to talk to him and figure out what is wrong, but the friend won't have anything of it and won't listen to him and they start fighting, after that the friend walks out - he's giving up on the suicidal friend and right after he leaves the friend kills themself. He's regretting the fact that he didn't stay up with him all night and is wondering where he went wrong and if he could have prevented this from happening. Sorry if that was confusing =p. |

I LOVE this song, and it's definitely not making fun of Jack's Mannequin. I wrote a story based on this song, and this is how I interperated it for my story. go ahead and burn it down im drunk and so is everyone else in this devil town Well, in my story the two main characters are close friends(and boyfriend and girlfriend) and they are criminal investigators. One of their friends was murdered, and they are at her funeral. The guy feels like it was his fault that his friend died, and being unable to deal with it - he drinks. His girlfriend, the other main character, also feels like it's her fault, and being unable to deal with it - she drinks. In some way or another all of the other characters feel like it is their fault. The down is so screwed up that no one can take it anymore. they wont let me turn around to get one last look at my baby, while she's still around x4 He wants to start spending all the time he possibly can with his girlfriend and will appreciate all of his friends the best he can because any of them could be taken from him at any moment just like the girl who was murdered was. He doesn't know how long any of them will be there. go ahead and build it up again this cities just cemetaries and forgotten men, in my only hopes to see you and even if i never do After her death, they are trying to start dealing with things or "building them up again". The crime rate is so high and no one cares about anyone else anymore - the city is just full of cemetaries(all the people who have died) and forgotten men(people forgetting and having apathy for one another). The main characters still feel like it is there fault and are hoping that they can somehow get one last chance to say goodbye to their friend. and i know what your thinkin but that wont stop this drinking its the least i can do cuz this life is anything but certain when they close the final curtain youll get a glimpse of the truth cuz your... still around His girlfriend is trying to convince him to stop drinking, because that's all he seems to be doing lately to deal with his problems. "This life is anything but certain" meaning that he knows nothing is certain, things can change and people can be taken from you in the blink of an eye. Nothing is guarenteed in life. He has realized this and is trying to explain - "when they close the final curtain, you'll get a glimpse of the truth" - you actually have to go through the experience of losing someone close to you or losing your own life to understand this about life. well shes still around well shes still around well shes still around go ahead and burn it down im drunk and so is everyone in this devil town |

| Blue October – Schizophrenia Lyrics | 16 years ago |

A silver-plated numbing gum And Jesus resting on my thumb A hard-to-reach malaria I've got the mood that seems to scare ya I think the first two lines are symbolizing the way we see things that aren't there. A hard-to-reach malaria is saying how its very hard to relate to since so few people have Schizophrenia. Since most people don't know anything about Schizophrenia other then the fact they have voices in their heads, it's scary to them since they know nothing about it. I'm paranoid -- self-destroyed Believe me Lord I'm sorry I've got the mood that seems to bury ya I've got the nightmare called schitzophrenia Paranoia and self destruction are some of the symptoms of Schizophrenia. The rest of this part is pretty self-explanatory. CHORUS: I cry, I cry And I don't know why The fever becomes my home I cry, I cry And I don't know why The fever becomes my home Becomes my home Becomes my..... When you are so used to it that you know nothing different, the disease becomes what you know, or your "home". I love it when you're holding me You have a gentle way of calming I haven't felt that way since 1993 When my mother held me Self explanatory. I bet you're waiting for a long sob story Of how I was mistreated again But no I wasn't built that way I was strong -- desperately brave I didn't mean to scare ya This is pretty much my favorite part of any song - ever. People assume to have a mental illness such as Schizophrenia that you'll have to have a long story about how you were mistreated your whole life and went through so many traumatizing experiences, but this isn't necessarily true. Sometimes it's totally unexpected. You could grow up being totally normal and happy, having a completely different personality (strong and desperately brave)but all of a sudden Schizophrenia takes over. Schitzophrenia |
