Yes, this song is about him killing people in the bar and he's telling us in the lyrics how he killed them and what it was like and when it says "looking in i see a lonely man, Etching tally's into the bar he's talking about himself writing tally marks into the bar counting the people he killed and when it says "Looking in I see a desperate man, repeating something to the floor" its talking about The Thespian that was in the bar that saw everything he did and all the people he killed in the bar.

I think its about in the story there is the Artist telling the story and a guy loved the girl Annabel and another guy killed her and now he wants revenge and this is a confrontation between them and the guy in love with Annabel is talking to the murderer in the speaking part |
