I agree with lostangeles. But the ending part that you can't put your finger on; I think it means that the affects of the forementioned female's drug use affect the male, apparently the husband, so he became depressed and took pills for it and moves along with the rest of his life. The next verse about how "we take these pills" could be refering to a large group of people, the population of drug users, saying that it doesn't matter what the pills do to you. As long as they make you feel better, everything is fine. They just move along, take more pills and it's better. That's what I think. Anybody care to... Add on to that? |
