Oh yea.. I just noticed that you did post lyrics on youtube and I did comment on them. I was working on them too. Yours were close to what I had. I mean the lyrics aren't too hard to figure out besides a few words here and there. |

That was my first thought too. This whole album seems to have some kind of political message. My first thought was this song is about a politician |

IMO, I think this song is about how we are slaves to our own inventions and technologys and we are going to end up destroying ourselves and this planet by servicing our own greed.
I just saw the video and at the end the guy opens a letter that says "Croatoan."
Croatoan is a symbol of returning to a more primitive, or more free, way of life. |

I put "you'll learn" first.
"you'll learn" "to fend it off"
That was my first lyric. But the more I listen to it, I just sounds like live and fend it off after live I didn't think made since. Guess we will find out next week. |

Yea I think I hear both. Somethings it sounds like Defend it all, Defend it off, or even Fend it off..
I went with Defend it all because I think I hear that the most. Can't wait for the album to drop so we can read the lyrics. This maybe their best lyrical album yet. |

The lyrics seem spot on except for one thing. I believe the bridge says "For grabbing hold" instead of "While grabbing hold".
