at the beginning of the song, the phrase: It's two O'Clock and I was sleeping, but I'm not feeling great. I took some pills to help my thinking, but now I'm thinking worse.
means that he can't get her off of his mind and nothing will help him to do that but to have her with him.
And in the rest of the song he explains that she is the key to solve his hectic life, she is the 'cure'. He also makes sure the girl knows exactly what she's in for with him, he's also not afraid of her changing her as I guess he accepts it because, she completes him in every way and he knows that it would be for the better. And at the very end he says that he knows this is love because he can't explain exactly how he feels, he can't put it into words, he just feels it and knows it's love. |

This song is showing that sober I guess he couldn't express his feelings for girl he liked, but when he was tipsy/drunk he had the courage to make a move on the girl and tell it like it is to her, and it lead up to even more feelings towards her in the end, and he explains that she's basically everything to him.
