I think this song is about jumping into a marriage too early. When he talks about their rings being like tattoos he means that it's something they can't just get rid of. They're stuck with that commitment for life, just like getting a tattoo. you can't say you've never had a doubt you smoked it down but really wanted out I really love those lines! |
