Lol okay guys, Alex didn't have the one night stand - Jack did. Jasey Rae = Jack's ex Jack's ex Jack's ex Jack's ex. I'd love to thank whoever was weird enough to tell me to check out Jack's old myspace comments. Jasey's there. During the ATL Unplugged Outtakes, they were going to play Jasey the following between Jack and Alex occured: A: "Are you okay doing this?" J: "No." A: "Seriously?" J: "Yeah." A: "Do you wanna do Stereo instead?" And then everyone threw a bitch fit. This is why Jack didn't play that song. So Alex wrote a song about JACK'S relationship. I find that amusing. G'day. |

No offense, ayesaych, but I think you're way off. Personally, I think it's about tour. When Stay Up, Get Down came out, they were just getting started. They had to be majorly excited for tour and...well, this could have been the result. Maybe partially about saying goodbyes and stuff before leaving, but being really excited anyway. Just a guess. |

I totally just thought of the whole Kennedy/Gabi drama that was floating around when listening to this the other day. But it sounds like the other side of "Ho Ho Hopefully" if you ask me. Ho Ho Hopefully was all about seeing someone left at home, and this seems to be all about waiting for them to come back. |

I think that JustDelirious got it down pretty well. (; The only comment I have for this is that I love that Alex told everyone to go out and download it. I think that says something about a band when they don't care that some people won't buy their stuff. Proves what they're in it for, yee? |

Dude, this song is just about people who talk shit. More specifically in the storyline of the story, it's a girl he wanted but he ended up turning her down. [Couldn't have me, I didn't want you] And she ended up talking shit about him to everyone, including Lisa [the girl I can't afford to lose]. It's a very high-school song. I love it. (: And it's not about him dating her best friend. The line "tell me what your best friend knows that I don't know" is about rumors because the first person someone gossips to is usually their best friend. So he's basically being sort-of sarcastic saying, "So, what's the latest dirt on me, girls? I'm dying to know." It makes more sense that way if you think about it. I love this song, though, because I get my name put in people's mouths all the time for no reason other than I'm not a whore, so they make shit up saying I am. So I think it's fantastic to have something this relatable. Poor Alex. Sick of rumors. ): The Home Alone reference is boss, btw. |

Awww, another song for Lisa :3 How fuckin' cute. If they get married, I'd kill a man for an invite ): rofl. But on a more personal note, I totally want my ex to sing me this song. Pathetic or what? ): |

"I feel like it can be about alcohol and about a girl." It COULD be. But it IS just about the alcohol. They did an interview with AP. It's about Alex being a severe alcoholic. (Boy needs rehab or somethin', idk if he's still into that shit but...) |

"but one thing thats definatly getting to me is, alex's lyrics are becomming meaningless" Personally, babe, I think that that's a one-album thing. (And I pray so, too). They didn't write this full album by themselves. And while some people think that makes them "sellouts", they really just DON'T HAVE THE TIME. You can hear Alex in a few of the songs - Therapy, Sick Little Games, Walls - but you can also hear when he isn't there in those songs as well. They asked for help on this because they've been touring almost non-stop since SWIR came out. Personally, I think it's crazy that I've seen them 3 times in the past year and have had the opportunity to see them a fourth that I didn't take. So I'm hoping the guys realize what's happening to their music and take it back to being extremely personal, but how personal do you expect music to be when you've been touring for three years? |

"And if you haven't noticed alex 's voice gets higher on every album" Actually, his voice is actually doing that; he was talking about how his voice is really changing, and if you listen to the stuff they did for MTV's Unplugged (Jasey Rae was BEAUTIFUL, listen to it), then you can hear the DEFINITE change in tone compared to say...Punk Goes Acoustic 2. I do agree that this song is a bit overproduced but calling people who think so "dumb bitches" isn't solving anything. Pull the stick out of your ass and enjoy the music - people will either like new All Time Low or they won't but we shouldn't criticize them for the action they choose to take. |

I believe it's "I saw the break lights starting to dim," but I may have just read the lyric sheet wrong, and I'm too tired to double-check myself. I love this song, though. For some reason, when I listened to it, part of me wanted to believe it was about Jasey Rae again.... |
