Although there is not as much evidence in this song as there is in many other ABR songs, i believe it might be about the government, society, ect. Undergoing some sort of revelation at age 17 realizing the world is controlled by people behind the curtain, at the top of the hierarchy, acting only out of self interest. Then finding comfort knowing God will soon put an end to their reign of power. The inner evils of society are being revealed and the rise of the righteous man is on its way. |
