He's not asking to go too far with her, just simply having their wrists touch would be enough for him. He's asking her to forget the pain [that he's caused her?] and let him in. Hmmmm I'm addicted :] Out of some of my favorite bands that have new stuff out [All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Paramore, We The Kings, Mayday Parade] Mayday Parade definitely kept their old sound the best. And I'm in love with them. :] ANYWAYS.. for the song :] It sounds like he misses the girl desperately. He said it would be okay, and he would be fine, but he's so far from it. But he can't bring himself to tell her "three words That I can't bear to say" because he's been hurt too badly[?]. So, in writing a song about it, he tries to say all the things he couldn't tell her. {That he's so hurt/ asking her if she was ever hurt about it too/ what he thinks and or thought about them etc.} He wants her to think about them.
