Can't stop listening to the song since Selway put it on his site last week. It's hauntingly beautiful, I had no idea he had such a great voice, can't wait to hear the entire album. |

I love this song. It makes me cry every time. I'm sure that a lot of people can relate to the song, the loss of a father figure, the loss of your childhood innocence due to it, and the animosity that builds up inside of you from it. Waiting for this day Well I memorized the things I'd say How you broke her when you disappeared How I hear her say, "You'd make your father proud." It echoes through the years As if I could forget all a mother's tears No, don't say a word Leave while you still can Put out your light That part of the song just gets me every time. Thinking of the confrontation scenario so many times in your mind that you practically have it all memorized but then "No, don't say a word" In my mind that's him saying that he never actually says all that he has been wanting to say in his head for so many years. Such a sad song but really beautiful. This entire album from BTE is great. |

Cute song. Straightforward meaning and very catchy. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the single. I'm a huge Weezer fan but honestly the lead singles off of the past couple of albums have been very uninspired (in my opinion) but this is a breath of fresh air! I have high hopes for the new album! Love the song already! I feel as though it's pretty self explanatory. There is a lot of rumor and controvery swirling around the song, possible New Moon track? I must say I was pretty excited about this release especially since Thom just made it sound as though we wouldn't be hearing much from Radiohead for a while. | This song just breaks my heart. Who can't relate to this? Finding someone that you can stay up all night with, laughing more than you have ever laughed with another person, and just connecting with each other. But then there's the sad realization that you're both already involved with other people and who knows what would come out of the situation, "But how long will you stay with me, baby?". Is it worth it to try with a new person? Most of the time it's just easier (sadly) to stay in the relationship you already are in simply being content. | |
