Adam. TFK is a christian band but they write so you can interpret their songs as either a christian message or a secular message. Christians believe it to be about how God is like a drug. You can choose to believe it's about a girlfriend or something else. The point of this site is for good discussion about songs, not for you to yell at Christians for their opinions. |

I've discovered that a lot of Christian bands write songs that can be interpreted from a secular perspective as well as a Christian perspective. I believe that this song is very evidently about God, but I suppose you could see it differently. It's not really a big deal. I don't think you should come on to a Christian band's song and tell the Christians that it's obviously not about God, though saying what you think it's about is fine. |
