| I dunnoooo ive seen some lyrics sites post "credit card shoved up your ass" like saying since she went to new york she wasnt bout to blow her money on all the expensive things there or something. I dont see much relevance to either of the eye ones but then again we dont really know why they went to new york 1 final time either. I havent heard the song in a while though so maybe its eyes i dont know if all the lyirc sites are right | |

I think the song was wrote in refernce to smoking pot. In the first chorus he introduces a lover friend to marijuana in attempts to loosen her up. The next line foreshadowing the imminant loss of interest ahead; "And I will be calm while you're blowing your stack" being both a metophorical reference for smoking, and an explanation of the feuds that occur when the stoner dude just wants to smoke dope all day and the bitch is sick of it. In the next chorus the couple becomes addicted and lose the ability to have fun without the drug, making them lame people to party with unless theyre with their own closest friends. Finally saying "And I'm flying around head over heels" and "What the fuck is going on?" potraying the spiral into pot head obilvian of only getting half as high; with the common side effects of spacing out, eating way too much, smoking every hour to stay bormal, and extreme forgetfulness. maybe ima stoner but this song spoke to me and made me wanna smoke more dope |
