The personifications n metaphors of this song are intense. I just think its about missing someone or losing someone important and feeling so comfortable when they're around, but when they're gone, it seems like you have nothing but yourself to rely on. As long as you think about them, you'll make it through. As much as it hurts, you know things will change for the better eventually. This song reminds me of how I feel about my ex boyfriend. Hands down one of the most delicate, angelic, beautiful songs I have ever heard in my entire life. I'm in love with this song and always will. Gives me hope and makes me feel like I can be sad, but I won't due divine timing. |

I am in love with this song..hands down the best off their new album.
I think it's about a girl that he really adores, but she's cool and she really doesn't want anything started (relationship), and he constantly sees her at band shows and he loves all the same music as her, but maybe seeing her all the time makes him want to be with her still, but she just wants to be free and have a good time with life and just doesn't want to be tied down.
Someone dedicated this song to me, and well, that's how I kinda used to be, so I kinda got that outlook. :) |
