I think this song is about this guy who are looking at everyone who are trying to get an image, being all stereotypical and all. So give me one good reason, why we need to be like them Kids will have fun and often, they don't want to end up there i think this is saying, so give me a good reason why you need an image, being with the crowd, thinking about popularity and what people think about you. I like the ones you say, they listen to the punk rock I like the kids who fight, against how they were brought up They hate the trends and think it's fucked to care, it's cool when this piss people off with what they wear,oh yeah hes saying, i like the kids who aren't afraid to stand up and stand out. He hates followers and people who obsess over what is "in" or what are people doing now, let me be like them. I think thats what it is saying. people this is song meanings... as in not discussing what genres and what kind of people listen to this song because this song is not about that for sure. song meanings is where people share there meaning to the song. |

I don't really get this song, but this is SONG MEANINGS. But i don't really get why people talk about his race and how he got this disease because it is just plain rude. All you guys know is the limited knowledge of the stupid paparazzi. The whole meaning of this song is.. IT DON'T MATTER WHAT RACE YOU ARE. Where your blood comes from It's where your space is I've seen the bright get duller I'm not gonna spend my life being a color <----- whole point of the song to me and my favorite part And would you guys stop commenting? This is song MEANINGS, as in what does this song mean to you? and whats really mean is, people started to like him only after he died. Other people started to understand him. Well that doesn't do much good because he's gone now (RIP!). Oh well. |

Well.. first of all i would like to add a note. I know that this site is not just about SONG MEANINGS but the title is SONG MEANINGS.COM... that doesn't mean leave a reply saying... OH EM GEE I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!! Well not to be offensive or anything but i think everyone knows you would like this song, i mean why would you even look at the lyrics and listen to the song if you hated the song? well if you do hate it, i mean why would you come here? So maybe this place is a place where you can interpret songs and give your deep meaning to it. With a little nice compliment to go with it. That just what i think of this site. Back to the song interpretation... This song i think has to do with love. and happiness is love (or some girl he loves). and when he said "happiness feels like sorrow" i think it means that love might crush you and break your heart. Happiness is a firecracker sitting on my headboard Happiness was never mine to hold Careful child, light the fuse and get away Cause happiness throws a shower of sparks this part probably means that he probably wasn't meant to be with this person he loves. and the part about the child probably means you should be careful with love or something. really hard to explain. I get it i just can't really explain it. Pretty much he's saying, happiness is love, you should be careful with it though, it may harm or hurt you sometimes but it will turn out fine in the end. They have very poetic songs that is much deeper than it seems. |

o_o,,,,, isn't this song MEANINGS?? all you guys do is comment on what you think? well i think EVERYONE knows that everyone loves this song, why would they come to these lyrics/song in the first place if they didn't like it. so i think this song is about missing a chance with someone because your afraid of what people say. |
