| I know Jon is a Christian singer, and I'm wondering if this could be about some relationship where the guy is realizing that for the girl to reach her full potential he has to let her go, or maybe their relationship is straining her relationship with Christ and he wants to stay with her but realizes that the best thing would be for them to part.
