Well, I read the lyrics after listening to the song. And I'll break it down. A lot of people are wondering about the chorus which goes: "I'm safe up high, nothing can touch me But why do I feel this party's over? No pain inside, you're like perfection But how do I feel this good sober?" She feels safe and feels like nothing can bring her down when she is drunk/intoxicated When she's drunk, she's starting to feel and notice that her drinking & behavior is getting old She feels so great and forgets about her problems She doesn't wanna be this way anymore and is asking can i still feel like i'm on cloud 9 even when i'm sober, is it possible? "I don't wanna be the girl who laughs the loudest Or the girl who never wants to be alone I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the mornin' 'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home Ah, the sun is blindin' I stayed up again Oh, I am findin' That's not the way I want my story to end" That's basically stating that she's finally realizing she doesn't wanna keep going down this road. "I don't wanna be the girl that has to fill the silence The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth Please don't tell me that we had that conversation 'Cause I won't remember, save your breath 'Cause what's the use?" She doesn't wanna be that girl who has to drink to feel that emptyness in her. When she's alone & sober she knows that her drinking isnt really helping, only creating a bigger problem. Theres no point in telling her about her problem because she wont remember. She's going to drink anyway to get rid of her problems. "When it's good, then it's good, it's so good 'til it goes bad 'Til you're trying to find the you that you once had I have heard myself cry 'never again' Broken down in agony, just tryin' find a friend, oh, oh" Basically, thats saying she is miserable both ways. IMO. Overall: I think it's about dealing with life and relationships. A person feels so good when they're drunk or high, reality doesn't hit them. But after awhile you start to notice you can't keep doing this, sooner or later it's gonna have to end. |

It's about them being celebrities becoming Rock stars living their dream. Like they once dreamed. But not getting caught up in the fame, just remaining themselves, grounded, and real. I think this is a little shot at Trace Cyrus for what he said about them being fake. When JoBros say "Who's to say that we wont keep it real." So they're trying to express the fact that they can have screaming girls after them, selling out concerts all over the world, and still be real, remaining the same people they were before they were the "Jonas Brothers". Just a thought. |

I think this song is about a girl being in a relationship with a guy she really loves and it ends. He moves on and tries to tell her to move on too. She moves on with a new guy but she can't get over the first guy she was with. When she's happy with her new bf, she thinks of her ex. She wants to still be with him. This song is so deep and I really love it. When I first heard this that's when I respected Katy Perry as a singer-songwriter. She has a awesome voice. |

I think this song is about someone going through a hard time in their life and asking god or someone to pull them through it. And they're use to every thing going great. hence "She said she didn’t believe 'it could happen to me," "Were all one phone call from our knees" we're all one step away from getting on our knees and praying for someone to guide us. |

When the wind blows is the the time where she gets tired of him, and moves on to someone else. When she no longer wants him, and he has no other choice to leave. Her moving on, is the wind blowing. So, he'll leave when she moves on. I think at the end when he says "You'll feel when the wind blows" I think that line is saying, when the person she's with now, gets tired of her. she'll know how it feels, to be in the position he was in. or she'll notice what they had before throwing it away for some other guy, who wasnt that great, to begin with. she'll feel when the wind blows. thats just my view on it. |

I think it's about a guy, who really liked and was into this girl. He saw her true colors or whatever saw her for what she really is. And ended the relationship. So, the girl is mad and then she says what's in the chorus : She said, "You're just a letdown Another one of my mistakes I never loved you anyway I never did, and I never will" She said, "You're just a letdown All your friends, they feel the same I never loved you anyway I never did, and I never will Overall I think it's just about a guy seeing a girl for who she really is and he ends it. She tries to hurt him by telling him he's a letdown and just trying to bum him down. |
