I think he's using a bullet as a similie for the "Bar Hall Queen". Must be. Awesome rhythm. Love when he sings the part about, "she was born and raised at the top of the south. You know she knows what it's all about!" |

The meaning has got to be about Vietnam or just wars in general and how there's nothing good about'em. This is one his best written songs. The electric version is fun, but the acoustic version is much better (YouTube it!). Along with a slower tempo and a short harmonica solo, the lyrics differ in the acoustic version too. He starts with the Children verse instead and ends with it too. There's also a bridge before ending verse and after the Lust verse... "I'll never use your love, you know I'm not like that So if you give your heart to me I promise to you, whatever we do That I will always be true" |

| About "Goin' Back" to nature I think. Getting away from the city and complicated times. | |
| Neil Young – Everybody's Alone Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is just, true. Speaks for itself. | |
| Neil Young – T-Bone Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Isn't this how we all feel? We all got the mashed potato, just don't have that t-bone! And the cowbell in the background makes me think that damn steak is still alive! Great song though. Sounds a lot like "This Note's For You", could very well be purposeful. |
