I love this song and just realized what it means (in my opinion) I think this song is about a cult. He talks about being broken down, pleasing the lord (leader), manufacturing love, saying he'll die if this is all a lie. He say's they are all the same, a cult like feature. These lines Children can't find shelter, so they retreat to the drugs Give out both your hands, man, and swallow them with love Where a the leader/recruiter takes children who aren't wanted by their families and have drug addictions.
