Sorry, mate, I have to respectfully disagree with your version. Garvey's accent leaves some of the lyrics hard to decipher which is why you have some different lines when he pronounces words differently. Listen to this song with headphones if you haven't already and really pay attention to what he's singing and you'll hear what I've written. Although, I was able to catch the "but" at the start of "the cigarette scent, it was everything then" because of your version. |
