someone is singing about going to sleep and hearing things in your dreams and you wake up and it's not anything its just a church bell. The song isn't about your sadness(blues) but it's still lonely and you ask someone to call you so you're not alone when you go to sleep/. 'no signs or sirens to keep us out no silver lining or song about no mound of islands can make this out no mound of island can make this out' people can't make out the amount of sadness they hear or have something with no silver lining and nothing can keep us from listening to them at least nothing that's held in the real world the idea of 'ring me to sleep' kind of like sing me to sleep sing and ring i think it doesn't mean that much but i wouldn't know about that 'no girls allowed in the back of the van no crying now or holding hands no long-neck birds with its head in its hands no foreign papers exchanging hands' i have an idea about this but it doesn't make much sense. this song is an fucking ocean. |
