i think that the beginning is talking about her having her heart broken so many times in the past or with the same guy but she is still keeping her faith in love. "every bones been broken but my heart is still wide open" it's all about her falling so hard for a guy that she doesn't care if it makes everything else in her life, the relationship or even herself fall apart. "i can't stop, don't care if i lose" she know she's risking a lot by being in the relationship but it's all worth it at the moment. she's saying that she's the one creating wounds (emotionally, i think) by staying with the guy because she could leave if she wanted to but she can't because she cares too much about him but the relationship is still hurting her. it's almost like maybe she's addicted to the pain and heartbreak. "these wounds are self inflicted - one more thing i'm addicted to" that's what i kinda get out of the song anyways... |
