this is prolly the easiest to interpret chevelle song...i pretty much think it's about someone in the band who, in the past was told he was nothing and his dreams were nothing. that they would never amount to who they are. (they = the person criticising). i also heard an interesting interpretation that this could be the guilty sentencing of a "holier than thou" christian population. |
