This song makes me lulz (cause this song is about greed and Super Junior being an SM group and with all that is happening with DBSK at the moment) Anyways the song is certainly different from most idol songs (which are either dance tunes that are so catchy you wished youd have stabbed your self in the ears before you actually listened to it (ex.- SNSD's Gee, KARA's Wanna, ShinEE's Amigo ;etc.), heartfelt ballads that make break down like a baby and cry (DBSK's Lovin' You, Doushitte Kimi wa Suki Ni Natte Shimattan Darou and Love In the Ice, Super Junior's What If, Rain(Bi)'s Love Story ;etc.) or the staple style: mid tempo R&B songs that just get you in the mood (Super Junior's Marry You and It's You; Shinee's Love Like Oxygen and Replay ; Rain's I Do ;etc.) So this truely is completely different with it's brash guitars, the screams of Heechul and also their costumes that they wore during the promotions...and it's one of the songs that propelled them to where they are now... so yeah...that's about all i have to say XDD |

OMG!!! I finally kno what they are ACTUALLY singing...this is awesome. But I feel that the actual meaning to the lyrics are cheesy, but we look beyond that cuz it is a pretty kick butt song and has a tendency to get stuck in your head |

@ The-Dullahan-AHHHH......so THAT is where i had seen this song...on the Amaranth CD cuz at first i saw this song title and thought "WHAT???!! i have never heard of this song" then i clicked on it and saw your comment and now i know anyways never heard this song...i should go ask my friend for his amaranth cd so i can go listen to it cuz im liking the lyrics |

i have no idea why but i feel that it has something to do WITH exodus (but with references to Greek mythology) but im not quite sure cause in the beginning he does mention the pyramids (which the jews were used as slaves to build them) -"A constellation of divine architecture built on Earth"- and then the actual journey is mentioned -"Reveal your face to me and guide me though the Stygian fields Enthral my soul to Sepedet's beams to serve Your will Sailing on the distant seas from darkness to deliverance Tales like the ocean written to the Draco's glance"- and also the hunter in the sky meantioned in the last line is actually a reference to the constellation of ORION so maybe it is about what he feels is HIS exodus...idk but this is probably my favorite song off Oceanborn (my top three are this, Sacrament of Wilderness and Stargazers) ...and on another note Wilksa didn't get fired from Nightwish (he was only asked, as a friend, to appear on the album due to his "dark, "sinister"" sounding voice, he was only fired from Finntroll0 ...ok done with the rambling XD |

i'm shocked that noone has even thought about COMMENTING on this great song (i feel it is one of their strongest songs off of the new album, wide awake is their strongest song overall on the album) anyways, my interpretation of the song is that someone is wanting to seek revenge for having their reputation tarnished or just being overall humiliated and they will do whatever it takes to go with it, just to show that they haven't given up |
