Awesome Song. I really couldn't get the jist of this song, but thanks ninja hidden in the cheese, lol. I get the feeling of desperation from this song, but unlike other blues songs, this song is much more hopeful: 'I still believe' Trust Switchfoot to keep the faith, lol! |

YES! Such an awesome song. My fave from the album I think the line "This is the sound, from the discontented mouths" sums the feel of the perfectly. This song is about determination to be heard, a sound nobody should ignore. Sadly, top dogs around teh world ignore it. U kno what, i understand what J12 is sayin. B ben has always, to me, just written things that sound very cool, But i respect those guys and their talent. I'm sure they respect their fans enough to not write nonsense, and ben burley said he's a perfectionist: who knows how straight forward the songs were until ben said, "no no, lets write this again" I imagine this to be a war song, like a lament of a battle gone wrong and a friend has died. Maybe he feels as if the friend is good and loyal but betrays him. "I'm with you, forever, the end" "Holding the hand that holds me down" I think these lines reinforce his love for this person, but something goes wrong, making him say 'I forgive you, forever the end.' It's a pretty deep song, and kind of christian! Lol |

Yes! Awesome song! I agree, maybe this is abt a sickness of some sort. Or maybe it's just abt two people who just hate each other. Sometimes their lyrics are so vague i wonder if they're just writing whatever sounds cool. |
