yeah, i think that makes sense too. and after watching the music video, i think its about Christianity and atheism. the belief of Christianity could be what is controlling her as a puppet. i think its supposed to be sort of ironic how she is repeating how the body works and how it is controlled in scientific terms, even though it is supposed being controlled by god. she has figured out the truth and now that she knows how things really are, other people are starting to follow her. nearing the end of the video, you see people fighting and doing stupid things which is probably the result of conflict about religion. when everyone finally is followed behind her, she comes back to the reality that people are not going to automatically change their beliefs and that the majority will still be controlled by Christianity. oh and just for the record, im not atheist so im not just being biased in this viewpoint :P |

imo, i think this song is about a girl who has always been stepped on and she is shy. she's finally coming out and saying that she's significant. saying she's not the carpet you walk on etc (esp. im not anyone you'll see) she's deciding to change herself and throw away her past self (im not annie annie annie..)her repeating now now now may be her changing herself and living now in her new life. the part where she repeats 'you don't mean that, say you're sorry' sounds kind of childish, so maybe she said that as a young child as she pathetically tried to make people stop taking her for granted or teasing her and then the last line is what she's saying now like, ill actually do something about it (ill make you sorry you ever messed with me) |

| for some reason, when I heard this song for the first time i thought he was talking about there eyes. like dark blue eyes, he can be lost in them or something. but i don't really think thats it, since he never says eyes lol :P i think i agree with most of the comments about it being about depression... makes sense since dark blue is a kind of depressing color. | |

| the way i interpreted this was, sorta like he likes this girl and hes like some sadist and he says i bite the flesh from your finger i just cant help myself, its like he likes her but he wants to kill her and eat her too xD its fucked up and in that part where it says i looked around the room and saw... i think he had sex with her then ended up killing her or something. but im probably wrong, thats just how i interpreted it xP | |

well, i know a lot of people think that this is a very simple song, maybe im wrong, but when i heard it i interpreted it to be about a girl who is addicted to love (since she's begging him to come back throughout the whole song), and uses material things and people to make herself happy (...she goes shopping for new clothes and she buys this and she buys that...), and she couldve been quite possibly abused by the boy whom she begs to come back (the flashbacks won't leave me alone...?). and maybe she sought help from a friend and the abusive boyfriend interpreted it as cheating. but, idk. i do tend to be a bit dramatic, and maybe this song really is just about simply cheating? this is just how i understood it. |

I think this song is about two people who love each other but got in an arguement...The girl went and found another guy (who was probably much better looking than the original guy) so, the original was jealous. He knew he was in over his head and that the girl might even be happier with the new guy so he tries to forget...and fails. So with 8 seconds left, she's still on his mind, because he's thinking that he doesn't want to be just a part of her past...so they find each other, clear up all misunderstandings, agree to disagree and live happily ever after. ...thats probably not what its really about but thats how i imagined when i heard it so i guess it really doesn't matter... |
