There is some controversy on whether this song is about one specific person or has a deeper meaning reffering to a whole society. I beleive it is about one person, an old girlfriend. And not only with the lyrics but you can tell in the tone of his voice. He sounds just barely different in this song which would lead one to beleive that he feels a deep pain, one such pain youcan only feel about a person and not about a society. But to interpret the lyrics you should pay close attention to "i dont love you anymore is all i remember you telling me". When you you an artist speak if love in a non metaphorical way it is almost always about a person. "boiling blood will circulate...with a hope inside of me...we will meet again". Boiling blood is a metaphor for anger this is obvius but it is confusing when he speaks of anger and meeting her again. This is most likely because of his genre of music angry lyrics go with an angry beat. He wanted to make a song to express his recent pain while retaining his hardcore image but a few lyrics a few true ones would say he is not angry at all but only gurt |
