I like the idea of the relationship, but I don't think it's any negative feeling for a partner, but more neutral. I get the impression that it's a young relationship where the two developed an intense friendship but the romantic love died. It's as if she can't explain what went wrong, because they've maintained their platonic love for each other, making them siblings. |
