sounds like a totalitarian government trying to surveillance our dreams. like hes telling a story about it happening. this is what i see when i hear it, maybe it can shed some light on your own interpretation. im not sure what the first verse means. maybe its about our dreams being what they are, either calm [piercing radiant moon] or freightful [storming of poor june] the second verse it like mechanical spiders spiders coming from the distance and you can see the light blinking on their cameras. [approaching guiding light] and they see our fear of death like were scared and hunched over [our shallow years in freight] then their intrusion wakes us, or we just awake the next verse is like realizing they know what we dream and can now take control and sensor or manipulate us. [the V-chip gives them sight - our lives are opened wide] I think by "all the life running through her hair" is supposed to be a metaphor for our past. like her hair is long and holds her past in the tips and her present in her roots...that kinda thing. and its not just hers or ours anymore. [the spiders all in tune - the evening of the moon] this makes me think of the spiders ravaging us all in our dreams and its dark with only the moon to light the horrible event. the rest of the song just follows suit. this is an amazing song that is VERY under rated. |

amazing solo, vocals, percussion, everything but the lyrics...i think they are lacking... coheed is one of the hand full off bands that are decent today |
