The whole album is based on Edgar Allan Poe poems with an Alesana mix added to it. So basically what I've figured out is the guys lover, Annabel, is killed. He is so shocked about her death that he starts going crazy. I believe that he goes after her murderer and kills him, and might have killed other people too? I was a little confused there. Then he can't live with the pain of Annabel being dead, so he decides to commite suicide, but suddenly Annabel appears. He can't believe that she's there and he's happy and just wants to be with her. I think she's mad at him for killing and that he has no shame about it. And I think he knows she's mad, so he tries to run from her or something. Or he just tries to work it out. Haha, I was also confused there. Ha ha. And then the last song I believe is in the eyes of Annabel and she kills him for his wrong doings. So yeah. That's what I think. |

u got the names right but no echo helps zeus get away frm hera and hera finds out and takes her voice away well not completely she cn only repeat the last words ppl say to her so she sees narcissus and falls in love cause hes so handsome and all she cn do is kiss him and repeat words so he gets annoyed and leaves her cause hes lost in the wood and she wont help(well technically she cnt) and then shes heartbroken so she asks aphrodite to make her disappear frm earth but aphrodite luvs her voice so much she keeps her round and says the person who broke her heart will feel the same burning love for someone else who cnt return it so the dude goes to a pond and sees his reflection and falls in love wif it but imagines it lookin like a girl echo follows him and he says a bunch of stuff and she repeats it and it gets twisted round and he just sits there and eventually turns into a flower and echo is now the echo repeating wat u say to her |

the dawn echoes the night with my glory...the sun himself honors me" meaning the poison f the "gift" Apollo gave him(golden touch)well he gets the gift in the morning so i suppose...? and the last one meaning Apollo gave him the "gift" so he thinks Apollo honors him

the Gods themselves envy my hand
blessed with the gift of gilded touch
fate wields its knife to cut the thread" well in the myth it says he had lots of roses so he was kings of roses but after the "gift" he became the one of gold and I think he thinks the Gods evny him for being able to have so much gold wen relly they r trying to teach him a lesson and gilded touch we all kno and fate and stuff he thinks it will be all good but fate comes along and "cuts his thread"
"I curse the day my dream became my descent suddenly I long for you,my only love" well he curses the day that his dream(bein very rich) became his downfall and dnt kno the rest srry

I truly have become one of them...my fatal flaw" um he thinks he deserves all these riches and powers the gods have but i dnt relly get the last part. remember im going by the myth kinda. and srry i dnt kno the last lines but hope this helped

learned this one frm english class so So it all begins wif dedalus a skilled builder(youll see wat i mean) i think kills this boy and escapes to crete i believe and he works for the king and queen but was close to queen and was her friend and would make her anything she want frm jewlery and all etc but one day while they were talking she insulted Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty and known for her punishments to those who r more fair than her or insult her so the King(mino)was known for his love of white bulls(his mother was turned into one by Zeus and turned back dif story)so Aphrodite makes the queen fall in love with Mino's new beautiful white bull so she does and she confides in Dedalus and he makes her a lovely bull outfit at night she meets the beautiful white bull and at nght on the grass and thinkin shes a pretty little brown cow the bull makes love with her, she later becomes pregnant and Mino finds out he goes to Dedalus and requests he makes a labrynth to keep the queen and her baby in so he builds it and since he knos bout it it was either he gets locked in a tower or in the labrynth but i thinks its the second one so him and his son Icarus(they never say how he gets this son) are trapped in there wif the queen who has to control the wild Minotaur(meaning Mino's bull) so Dedalus plans an escape each day he sets out food for the birds and requests a feather frm each of them and once he gets enuf he builds 2 sets of wings by sticking the wings together with the candle wax. so wen the times has come he tells his son Icarus to follow him and dnt go too close to the sun, so they fly and fly and ppl point and gasp and they fly but Icarus lets it go to his head and sees the birds he says he cn go higher than the birds so he flies hgher he sees the clouds and says he cn go higher thn them so he flies hgher suddenly he sees the sun and proclaims that he cn absolutely go higher thn the sun as he raises higher his arms start to get sticky...the wax was melting! he started panicking as they feathers start falling off and suddenly he starts plumeting towards the ocean Dedalus quickly tried to save his son but it was too late, he had drowned all tht was left of him was a few waxy feathers

pft obvious its bout this greek music player(cnt remember the names) he was sad to have played the most beautiful music and this girl fell in love wif him and they get married but on the day our their wedding she gets bit by a snake and dies he grieves for her and decides to descend down into the underworld and he asks persephone and hades to return his wife to earth and they say no so he plays them music and its beautiful that they allow him to return wif her,on one condition. she must pass over into the uperworld(earth) without him ever looking at her. so they walk and walk and he start to worry if shes not following him but he keeps goin anyway. wen he gets into the light he turns around he smiles as he sees her, but the is one major flaw...shes not into the world yet. he watches as she disappears nd then shes gone "I have found the way to trick the ferrymen I have deceived the ancient Gods" meaning he had found a way to get into the underworld(he gets in by playing music to the ferrymen) "cold flesh lends to me its secrets" i think means the part where Hades tells him how to get out wif his wife "for a price too high" means he musnt look at her the whole time which s hard for him since he loves her so much and wants to see her very soon so its difficult for him "chills take me as she wakes, throat gasps tainted breath I've reclaimed you my stolen bride" well its bout the whole thing with the hades allowing him to take her and his "stolen bride" referring to her dying so she was "stolen by death" i'd like to continue but i think you get it ^-^ hope you like it ilalesan!<3 |
