there is also a reference to George Orwell's 1984 "The suburbanites will get the kibble/ (listen)/ The double speech is legit/ Doublespeak is the totalitarian government used to cloud the minds of the citizens so they'd believe what ever the government said. To me this song is saying "It wasn't good when Bush was in, and it's not getting any better" I agree. |
