I personally believe that this song has a much deeper meaning than people realize. I think by saying he "kissed" a drunk girl, he is actually using that as a metaphor of sorts to say he "slept" with a drunk girl. If you listen to the lyrics carefully it makes a lot more sense that way... I pulled away cause you see I didn't think it would be right And said "let's save this for some other night" And she said "No, no, no, no I know that everthing's gonne be just fine" How could I do this when I wanted her to be all mine? Believe it or not, most people wouldn't say "I want you to be all mine" when talking about JUST A KISS. Great song! |
