I agree with lyricalswitch! I think that in some relationships the girl or the guy (dont wanna b sexist!!) can take the otherone for granted and sometimes it causes problems, sometimes you don't realise a good thing you have until you're on the verge of loosing her or him until there gone and you're left sayin what if? Or looking at the photographs of happier times. There is a great depth of emotion in this song, I'm not really a lemar fan tbh but this song caught me off guard. I was in this position, where the guy knew he was gonna lose me .... it really hit home to him on more than one occasion but it was never enough, his jealousy, paranoid and inability to trust lead to bad times and broke us. Guys... dont take your girl for granted, tell her how you feel... before it is over. |

LOVE THIS SONG SOO MUCH, glad to see some comments on this song. I agree with the comments above, It's about loving someone and maybe they don't feel the same way anymore... it's about layin all the cards on the table basically and taking the risk of saying ' I love you ' this is how I feel and I need you in my life. He's singing out for the other person to tell him how to change so they feel the same way. Would you stay forever Or just leave me here to drown most powerful lines of the song i think, because it sends out an echo.. hes placing the ball in the other persons court, which sometimes can be a dangerous thing to do wouldn't it be lovely to have a guy sing this to you girls?? lol amazing |

So many comments already lol, no words can possibly describe how beautiful this song really is!! Im 18 now..... times really flown and well this songs always been right there, on my ipod and when im up or down i'd listen to it and think of everything thats happened, people that's been in my life and people who didnt desereve to be in it more. This song definitely describes My first relationship with a guy I loved... yes i used the l word lol anyways..... we were great everything going along well and then our relationship was broken. He found me jus when I was going through some serious stuf and he stole my pain away. I dont regret him or the time we spent together and even though we don't speak anymore he will always have a place in my heart. He used to play this song to me and stroke my hair and him being there let me know that someone did care and things would work out.... I haven't met the right guy yet but I know one day someone else will *steal my pain away* awesome song by an awesome band |

| Wow is this all the comments?!!! This song is stunningly beautiful on so many levels!! I think this is about someone who's came across old love letters/letters from friends or family and remincing of times past. The tone can be intepreted differently to different people..... nevertheless its beautiful! It makes me think of friends who are no longer friends and one of my ex boyfriends.... we had plans for the future, we seen good times ahead... but his jealousy etc ruined a good relationship in the end. This song is quite inspirational. When you're down in the dumps and feel you can't fall any deeper remember that to get this low and in this state of mind it must have took something brilliant and something you cherished at some point, be glad that it was a part of your life because you might not see it now, but looking back you might not have changed it at all.... because its made you the person you are today, strong :) | |
