| Eurythmics – Here Comes The Rain Again Lyrics
| 16 years ago

This song is very artistic and sad.
It's beautiful how each beat and sound in the background is like raindrops. Each tap on the keyboard or pluck of a violin has a rhythm matching rainfall and never gets repetitive.
This song is really deep and can connect with life really easily.
I love the phrase, "here comes the rain again" because it gives you that sense of repetition that she feels, yet you know no matter how many times the rain comes, the pain never eases away.
Just beautiful. |

I can sort of understand as well. I first heard this song when I was going through a lot of drama and I got attached to this song.
Now it always has a connection with me. |

This is a great song. My friend is actually going to use it for her first dance on her wedding night. I think it's beautiful. She's the one that showed me the song and I couldn't stop listening to it ever since. |

I always thought of it the same way. The narrator seems to have gone a way for a while, but comes back for forgiveness. |

this song says something of lost chances and never being able to go back again. I can't quite interperet it any other way. It seems really sad. |

I love the swing of this song, but I can't put a meaning to it other than the fact that she's probably exploring so many things that could have happened in previous lives. |

As I listen to Vienna Teng's songs and this one comes up, the piano at the beginning is one of the most soothing sounds I can come by. When I'm stressed I can literally feel my body relax at the sweet, sat chords of the piano. |

my words exactly. I don't think vienna is that straight forward as to say that the crowd speaks completely foreign from her. she's the kind onf writer that makes you fish for the meaning.
I've always thought it was a group of strangers (luminous and strangely young) that she wasn't used to being around.
The second part of your comment also is what I was about to say. I've thought of it like that. I guess, for me, thinking of it any other way takes the magic out of the song. |

I think I remember something about this being more of a poem. Someone suggested to Vienna to do one that was like looking at a painting. This is what came of it.
Beautiful descriptions. |

Her roommate in college. She also explained that the boyfriend kept denying that it was that way, but later on, he got frustrated that their relationship was, in fact, how it is in the song. |

| Vienna Teng – Kansas Lyrics

I heard that she thought of this song while driving through Kansas, (hence the first two lines).
The narrator looks back at a relationship that was built up very strong with high dreams (cities of clouds), but came crashing down, (houses of cards flat on the table like Kansas). Now that that relationship is over, the narrator has nowhere to turn (every wall I lean on transforms into sliding doors and thin air). She lets him go, though it hurts. She wants his life to be better than hers at current (hope yours is kinder) and wants him to move on (let go of this when you find her).
The saddest Vienna Teng song, yet so smooth and calming. |

I never thought of any other meaning other than the broken relationship. It was so plain and simple, yet the words were deep and somewhat vague. I love how her songs are always puzzles. |

Well, if they were going to viet nam, they would probably travel west. . . :>
also, I do think that "Scars that won't heal" would mean that, excepting I think that they would be mental scars more than physical. . .just a thought. :> |
