I believe this song is about being trapped within ones own mind. Insanity sets in, you become lost, you ban things from your mind, and a second personality is born but does nothing but get you even more lost, and laughs in your pain. |

This song hit home with me a few days ago. My girlfriend of a year left me and there are several things i noticed, that i was just her emotional chew toy and didn't mean anything more than a good time to her. She played me and told me she loved me, wanted to get married someday, stuff like that, and the way she talks now is like we still have a chance but she wants to see other people and keeps playing me like she doesn't want to let go of me quite yet. The lies upon lies and yet there is something far more in store for her if she ever falls in love with me again, "but tonight you will surely see that the last time hurts even more", i see revenge in these lyrics aswell. |
