seems like this is coming from a mom's perspective. telling her kid not to be like all the other kids. "did you do your best today" seems very mom-ish to me. but it could still be a friend or something. |

this is definitely about after a breakup with his girlfriend. i guess the ex is bitter about the breakup, and dreams about torturing him? gag him with tubesocks that say "why can't we be friends?" i dont think he understood who she was. but he's starting to understand as he's in the nightmare. or something like that.. either way, great song! |

well. if there was no symbolism at all in the song.. i know that swordsmen had incredibly strong and thick wrists. hence wrists of steel. but he probably intended to put symbolism in it, soo it just makes it that much better. |

I think all he's saying is that, he just doesnt fit into his church, and he disagrees with how they run it.. and that he'll find jesus in his own way. im not pot head or anything, but im pretty sure god won't condemn you to hell for smoking pot. |
