this song is quite obvious to tell what its about but noing me im probably wrong. from the chorus what its about: 'For every 99 times You looked me in the eye, You looked me in the eye And swore you weren't lying Well, I was so blind I never saw the signs I'm getting out tonight and you're not invited' its about a girl who boyfriend keeps lying to her and says its the truth and she believed only to find out that it was all lies and she is getting really sick of it the verse: 'These things are oh, all so typical These things are unforgivable I'm gone and you're invisible now Dont let me catch you followin Dont ask, cause I'm not offering You've caused enough of my suffering, oh' means that these things happen all the time, and since it is happened she is never going to go back to him and if he chases her shes gonna ignore her. |

ok this is all just a guess but what i got from this song was that she is with a man who goes out late everynight having the time of his life while she sits at home wait for him to get back. then in the chorus it says 'You say that love's tough, are you sure? Ain't it just a piece of cake to make me look like a fool?' and i think this means that when she complains he says love can be hard then she questions if it really is love that they have and that she is made a fool because she used to believe it was. later it says, 'You're just staying, weighing, breaking me down' which is her realising that she is better than he is. and at the very end it says: 'You may be on top of the world But I'm done playing by your rules' wwhich is her saying that he may be happy but she isnt and shes had enough. |
