I think that she is singing about how it's hard to live wherever she was living beforehand and that she's picking up her life and moving somewhere else so she can make something of herself. There's just one thing stopping her... The person she loves. So she's saying that she'll never forget them and that she'll send a postcard saying that she's alright and that she'll always remember goodbye. |
