My Chemical Romance – It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Fucking Deathwish Lyrics 15 years ago
In an interview I watched, they said they wrote a song about having sex with men on this album. I think it's this song.

My view on this is that the male main character found an abusive ex-boyfriend of his lover's. He develops a sexual relation with the ex and ends up killing him. "Fashion Statement," I think, refers to bisexuality, and how people do it because others think it's "hot."

But, that's just my opinion.

Lady GaGa – Bad Romance Lyrics 15 years ago
It's been stated in interviews that this song is about falling in love with someone so much that you want the sick, ugly, twisted parts of them.

Is it just me, or does "...Want you in my rear window, baby you're sick..." sound like a reference to anal sex?

It's about how crazy people get about religion, and if they're going to be religious, they should have faith in the religion, and they should believe so they don't go to hell.

And I almost forgot (This adds to the "sex" part) can anyone tell what's being said during (what I like to call) The creepy orgasm part?

I'm not really sure what this song is about, but I really like it. There's a lot more sex in this song (EX: "So why don't you blow me..." "Juilet love the beat and lust it commands...") than the usual MCR song. It reminds me of the Mortal Instruments books by Cassandra Clare ("There's a place in the dark...") and it sort of reminds me of New Moon. Fantastic song.

Panic! at the Disco – Build God, Then We'll Talk Lyrics 16 years ago
Ok, here we go:

It's these substandard motels on the (lalalalala) corner of 4th and Fremont Street.
Appealing only because they are just that un-appealing
Any practiced catholic would cross themselves upon entering.
The rooms have a hint of asbestos and maybe just a dash of formaldehyde,
And the habit of decomposing right before your very (lalalala) eyes.

This line refers to a sleazy motel where prostitutes meet with the men they're going to have sex with.

Along with the people inside
What a wonderful charicature of intimacy
Inside, what a wonderful charicature of intimacy

Pretty obvious. Intimacy, in this case, means an affair, so it's an egzagerated(Spelled it wrong, sorry) affair.

Tonight tenants range from: a lawyer and a virgin
Accessorizing with a rosary tucked inside her lingerie
She's getting a job at the firm come Monday.
The Mrs. will stay with the cheating attorney
moonlighting aside, she really needs his money.
Oh, wonderful charicature of intimacy.

The lawyer is meeting with the virgin to have sex. The Mrs. is "working" (Having sex) for the attorney, and she doesn't like it, but she needs the money, so she stays.

And not to mention, the constable, and his proposition, for that "virgin"
Yes, the one the lawyer met with on "strictly business"
as he said to the Mrs. Well, only hours before,
after he had left, she was fixing her face in a compact.
There was a terrible crash (There was a terrible crash)
Between her and the badge
She spilled her purse and her bag, and held a "purse" of a different kind.

Ok, try to follow me here, this is where it gets tricky. A constable is a cop, for all of you who don't know. I'm sure you can guess what his "Proposition" is. They put quotes around virgin because she's not actually a virgin. "Strictly Business" refers to what the lawyer might have said to anyone who ask what they did together. They may have known this girl what a prostitute, and he doesn't want to look bad, so he's telling people they met on "Strictly Business". A "Terrible crash" is when the police break in and arrest the virgin. "Between her and the badge she spilled her purse ans her bag" means she took her clothes off, because in this case, a "Purse" is a vagina. Then she and the constable had sex, because the constable was saying "Have sex with me, or I'm going to arrest you.

There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses.
It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses
At the shade of the sheets and before all the stains
And a few more of your least favorite things.

A play on the song "My Favorite Things" from the movie "The Sound of Music". It mean all of the stuff they refer to in this song is just a fantasy, and doesn't really exist.

Love this song. Panic at the Disco kicks ass.

Fall Out Boy – Tiffany Blews Lyrics 16 years ago
"I'm not a crybaby,
I'm THE crybaby."
Fall Out Boy's way of saying they're not an emo band, they're THE emo band.

"A caterpillar that got stuck
Mr. Moth come quick with any luck."
I think it may refer to some guy getting stuck in a relationship. He's complaining about it, and his friends are telling his to grow up (Thus "Mr. Moth come quick with any luck").

"A long walk to a dark house
A Roman candle heart keep us far apart"
I'm pretty sure a roman candle heart means someone who has a lot of lovers (A roman candle spins, a spinning heart).

"I got your body doing alright
hate me baby maybe I'm a piece of art"
Hmm, more that I think about it, maybe this song refers to prostitution? "I got your body doing alright" Maybe refers to sex? "Hate me baby maybe I'm a piece of art" Means looking at someone a different way. I always though it was "A cocktail party doing alright."

"My friends all lie and say
They only want the best wishes for me
Oh, 3, 2, 1,
We go live..."
Um, no idea. I can think of what weirdo lyrics mean, but these lines I draw a blank.

"Ohh baby you're a classic
like a little black dress
you're a faded moon
stuck on a little hot mess (little hot mess)
and ohh baby you're a classic
like a little black dress
but you'll be faded soon
stuck on a little hot mess (little hot mess)"
Either a reference to Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or the color, which is sort of an aqua. People wear wedding dresses that color, so it might mean marriage. "A little hot mess" may mean marriage. No idea what "You're a faded moon" means.

"I can make your heart slow
I can feel the weather in my bones
We're starting off and can turn it to what I like
your pupils big roll like dice"
Yep, I'm pretty sure this is a love song. "I can feel the weather in my bones" May mean he can tell when a fight is coming. "We're starting off and I can turn it to what I like" maybe is like saying "I'm paying you to have sex with me, I get to do what I want with you." I always though it said "Wish hard enough I can turn it to what I like." "Your pupil get big roll like dice" is refering to someone rolling there eyes.

"I'm not the boy I was before
what I am is just venting, venting
Dear gravity, you've held me down in this starless city
I'm not the boy I was before
what I am is just venting, venting
Dear gravity, you've held me down in this starless city"
He broke up with the girl he was dating. End of subject.

Fall Out Boy – I've Got All This Ringing in My Ears and None on My Fingers Lyrics 16 years ago
I think I know what this song means, but this is just a guess.

"You're a canary, I'm a coalmine"
Way back when, coal miners used to bring canaries to to coalmines to test the air quality. If they died, it means the air wasn't safe to breathe, so maybe it means he's dangerous to her?

I think "Tell the boys where to find my body
New York eyes, Chicago thighs" is sort of like his was of saying to her "I'm not like any guy you know, I'm different." These are my favorite lines from this song.

"The truth hurts worse than anything
I could bring myself to do, to you" He's ashamed of something, and worried he's going to hurt her.

"Do you remember the way
I held your hand under the lamp post and ran home?
This way, so many times I could close my eyes." He knows it's wrong to be with her, that, or he's extremely shy, so he's running away. That, or it's referring to running away from your problems?

Amazing song. This is my favorite off the album.
