a relationship changing for the worst due to the fact that both of them are gowning up and just changing naturally. Sometimes people grow apart and change in ways where they become two totally different people. Obviously the guy got way to comfortable in the relationship and took his love for granted: "I was wrong to keep you underneath my finger" this guy blames himself for this happening, but he know that he didn't do it intentionally. Its just the way people evolve. but then... after some time apart for the one he loves, he knows hes ready to start again and make this better then ever. And when Tal says: "Now I, I feel like an aeroplane above the rain And I, I wont make the same mistakes I used to make" i believe the guy is telling the girl that he feels good about the time apart they had, because now he sees what her needs are and what it takes to make a relationship work. he knows the reasons why he got comfortable with her, and is trying to tell her things WILL change. Its almost is hes begging for her for a fresh start: "Now you and your love can show me the way" and "Now I'm gonna show you and you're gonna see Everything you mean to me" Then, the last line of the song, "I can fly" I think this means that he now knows and understands, that he has what it takes for her to have a change of heart again...hes just waiting for her to say "ok." |

no comments? really? anyway, i think this song is about a relationship then was lost do to someone's blindness and stupid being. he didn't see it then but he realizes now that he has been hurting her all along. "I've been so blind To all that I have broken" and now, hes begging her for one more run at this...but she cant find it in her heart to believe it will work. even tho he knows things will change. "Can we put the past behind us Tonight I wanna fight for you Just give me one last chance to make it right Last chance to make it right" amazing song, sad but amazing. |
