damnit! i thought i had it all figured out too... i thought the four letter word had to be "rend" but mopnugget seems to be right:

the song, to me was just talking about how your told how to live and be respectable and proper, even though (like in the case of the Comanche) you are perfectly fine living how you live and being yourself.

i interpreted it a little different, i saw it as a girl really liked him and did anything for him, and he didn't realize what he had or how much he liked her until she didn't care anymore. maybe I'm just relating it to myself though XD |
