ok, am i crazy here, or does it sound like she's saying p-p-p-poker face f-f-f**k her face (or f**ker face) to anyone else? I have debated this with friends, and there is a mixed consensus. it does not say so in the lyrics book or anything, but something about that second vowel sounds like a "u" and not an "o" to me. Plus, on the radio edit, it is definately 2 poker faces, the "u" sound is not included. And with the widely accepted sexuality bluff interpretation, this sneaky slip of an f-bomb would make even more sense. someone help. |

are you kidding? i love this song! and for some reason, i never really thought about what its deepest meaning was. i always just paid attention to the title and let the rest just be words. |

| I agree with the "sellout" interp, but i also think this applies on a more personal level, like he has ended up somewhere in a relationship or job or whatever where he never intended to be. Like he's been living a lie, as they say. | |
