What makes fall out boys lyrics so great is that they have two song writers(Pete and Patrick take turns on different albums)and with the older stuff like this song, it was written by Patrick. You can definately tell the difference between Pete's and Patrick's lyrics because Patrick's are more self-hating and angry while Pete's are more naricisstic and has a 'you take that' kind of attitude. Both are great. I like that the lyrics seem so open and vulerable in this song, it's really honest. Like something you would think, but never say, so fall out boy just decided to sing it. ha. I love this song, the meaning is pretty simple. |
