okay this is what i think the song is about. It starts out where she says "I wish i could rip out a page of my memory" which to me says that she says she wishes that she never got involved with her boyfriend. Because "i put to much energy in him and me", like that she always has to try to make things good between them and she always has to be the one putting ALL of the energy into making him love her. Then when she says: "Such a mystery when hes here with me It's hard to believe I'm still lonely Chances fading now, patience running out This ain't how its supposed to be" I think that she is saying how she doesnt really know how he feels and doesnt know if he still really wants to be with her. so she feels like what they had together is slipping away, and all the chances she gives him to prove to her that he loves her and wants to be with her arent being taken. so she is getting impatient and upset. then she thinks to her self that this isnt how love and relationships are supposed to be. Then she keeps going on about how many feelings she has for him and that she keeps looking back on their relationship and how great it used to be. She just is tired of using all of her energy to make this relationship work when the guy isnt putting any energy into it. |
