"I could feel my eyes turning into dust And two strangers turning into dust" here it looks like she is comparing the way that our eyes are made for eachother, a beautiful pair, they see together and without the other you can't see propery. she compares it to how people are destined for eachother. i don't think it's about people dying and feeling fate and fear in that way; but because falling in love is scary and breathtaking and i think she describes that perfectly. |
