I think this song is about a controlling relationship. The person was constantly told how to 'be' by the other e.g. patient, fine, balanced and kind. Finally, true colours are shown. The two of them are at breaking point, and aren't quite sure how to handle it. They've been constantly ordered on how to be that they've lost themselves and without the control they 'fall' apart. The one who was once weak has become strong, and the one who was once strong has become weak. 'In the morning I'll be with you, but it will be a different kind' - meaning they'll still be together but it won't the same. Something has gone missing, a sense of being for the dominant one in the relationship. They don't know what love they share anymore, because there's no power. 'Who the hell was I?' - symbolizes referring back to themselves in a questioning manner. It seems this shows the person who's been controlling have become vunerable by the realization of the love 'wasted'. The song just shows that the strongest people can break so easily. Many weak people are taken advantage of far too much, and then Karma will always come right back and you'll FEEL it. |

| This song is about loving someone with everything you have, and them simply not feeling the same, but you'll be happy with them saying 'i love you' and not meaning it because you love them so much! and he wishes and prays that one day that person will feel the exact same way but its like 'wishing for rain as i stand in the desert' so its like impossible to happen but he won't give up :} the lyrics are truely beautiful! it makes you really think.. I think she is talking about waiting for someone who maybe she hasn't met? and she wants to wait for that person to come to her, and be ready! and she doesn't want no-one else; and she'll wait for that one person if it takes a life time because she feels that no matter how hard of a wait it were.. it was worth it for that one person, so basically its about Long Distance.
