To the "Jewelbug716" : Let people be. YOu'd be surprised how much music I have in my collection but like everyone else, I don't know every single band out there. Thanks to the movie I now know this band. Never been a fan of girly movies but I do like Twilight and you shouldn't call people "Twitards" because YOU don't like it... bet if you saw me in person you wouldn't call me that,lol..Anyway...The movie has an amazing soundtrack and sorry to drop it to you sweety but... A band without an audience is irrelevant. Thanks to the "Twitards" this song has a huge audience now. -XOXO |

It's about all the crap people feed you when you're a little girl (the fairytale,the ideal man, the happy ending...) then you grow up and you find out it's all bs and it hits you in the face...it's not always a happy ending and no, even if you are the perfect girl, the "price" will still let you down and he may not be who you thought he was... But I agree with this part of the song: "Well, if it's not real You can't hold it in your hand You can't feel it with your heart And I won't believe it But if it's true You can see it with your eyes Oh, even in the dark And that's where I want to be" ...I guess the little girl finally grew up, woke up and smelled the roses, lol. I do believe true love happens but it's not easy to find :) I'm not a fan of Paramore yet but I'm starting to like them alot. |

From a woman's point of view...It's so funny how I relate this song to myself, my mom and some of my friends. It's obvious, it talks about wanting to leave because you're just so unhappy and can't take it anymore but don't have the courage...breakups are so hard to do when you loved or still love... It takes balls, lol. " Memories back when she was bold and strong And waiting for the world to come along" (I guess love/life is not what you thought it would be, in the past you had diffrent dreams for yourself, and you ended up being hurt and lied to) Swears she'd do it, now she swears he's gone (You think you'll finally have the guts to put an end, but once he's in front of you, you can't, it will hurt too much. | I heard this song again today and I felt...nothing. I mean the song is awesome but I don't feel the way I did when I wrote my comment. I guess I was just feeling down and did it. I did the best I could in that relationship. But you can be the greatest girlfriend and a cheater will always be one, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and that's the mistake I made because I didn't only gave it once...It was so sad that everytime things seemed to get better he again slapped me in the face with the same crap. No appreciation, no honesty, no loyalty, no respect, not even "I'm sorry"... real love is not like that. I gave all that and more. I don't regret the relationship, it was love and I do remember the good things but His "sins" like he calls them where stronger than his love for me I guess,lol... come on, we're human not saints but I will never hurt the one I love and I'm not stupid to let something good go since I know how hard it is to find...Sad to see that he is still the same person, he never learns. | |

I love this song it's just so true...I wish I could tell you now that I forgave you (a long time ago) for every wrong you did to me, I'm sorry for all the wrong I did to you...I wish we were still together...I still remember you everyday eventhough it doesn't seem that way...I want to move on but I can't...I still love you very much. I do think that you should have listen to your heart long before we started making mistakes and got to the point of breaking up because with me you had the real thing. I just hope that whatever happens to us is for the best. And if we are meant to be we will find the way. I Love you Jesse. |

| Like I've said before... this site should be called "come and judge the bands place" not songmeaning, nobody cares about the lyrics of the song...oh well...anyway.. This song is obvious, it's about the end of a relationship... almost always a sad thing. I love the way he refers to her as his "rose", I'm a girl but the rose to me means "my love" haha. It's a sad song but also a "moving forward" song. It's very hard not to look back sometimes but when they give you no options then it's best to just let things be. I think that's what this song is about. And the "broken wings" part...Well, we all feel that way after it's over. And sometimes it feels like you can't fly again. But we all do someday. | |

Damn, this site should be called "come and judge the bands place"instead of songmeaning...anyway...in my opinion this song is about FINALLY finding yourself after all the crap you've been thru. I think it's about hitting bottom and starting all over, at least wanting to...it could be related to drugs, the end of a relationship or just the way you've been living. Whatever it is it's about being so fed up with your situation and finally wanting to find a meaning and purpose for your life here.
