I could be completely wrong on this one but I feel like its about whole band but mostly alex. The industry is trying to change them into something their not and there's nothing they can do about it so they have to suck it up and put a smile on their face (I'm a walking travesty, but I'm smiling at everything) people in the music industry are getting them to go mainstream which they're not, but they have to go along with it. I mean they still like their music but it gets to them sometimes that its changing. I also think alex is realizing how cocky he is in the whole arrogant boy part and taking it out on himself. Lastly I think that they think if they don't sell out they'll just fade away and become another burnout no name band.(You're lucky if your memory remains) But hey, then again, it could be just like alex said in his interview. |
